Just buy the 2008-up OEM projector lights. Change the turn signal and running lamp to LEDs. I use a virtual chrome turn bulb that glows orange instead of amber. Install a HID kit and shaded headlamp protectors from XPEL Head Light Protection or Scion tC Headlight Covers, Clear Bras, and Tail Light Covers and your done.

Note: 2008-up assemblies have optics bulge for the projectors. Lamin-x kit does not state for 2008-up so double check with them. It would still fit but will not cover correctly.

There are many options you can do. You can do as Navy suggested and go with the 08+ tC projectors or you can stick with your stockers and customize them. HID's are not necessary. You can stick with the halogen housing and upgrade to bulbs to something such as Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's.

You can bake them and paint the stock housing silver to match the rest of the car.

You can install CCFL's. They tend to give off a nice exotic look when done correctly.

As far as fog lights, I recommend VRD's. Very nice and clean install. Plus, they look great with an HID kit installed like I have in mine.

Cold cathode fluorescent lamps. They're commonly referred to as halo's. BMW uses them. I've sure you've seen them.

And yes, if you decide to stay with halogen, you can go to your local auto parts store and purchase the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's. They're normally about $50 a pair.

Baking the tC's headlights require no special tools. Only a couple of screw drivers, a baking sheet, and an oven big enough to place one in.

Once baked, you can sand down and primer the black surface on the inside of the headlight and then apply some high temperature aluminum spray paint which will look silver once dry. Everything needed to do that is available at your local auto parts store.

The CCFL's referred to earlier can be found here. From what I've heard, Oznium is a great company with fantastic customer service.

I have never heard anyone stand by aftermarket headlights in the long run. They always have the LED's burn out quick (ask Navy), the lenses in the projectors aren't very good, and they tend to leak alot. Taillights seem to have the same effect with the leaking problem. The last thing you want is condensation on the inside of your lights. As far as the foglights...yes, they will work. My personal opinion though is that they are ugly. We have another member on here that bought those same fog lights. Long story short, she wound up taking them out.

Oh I had those! When I actually put them in my car, after spending too much on them from some whacko place that had the worst return policy ever, they looked veeeeery ugly in my car. I think I may have a picture on my laptop. Not only were they hideous and not at all what I was going for, I had issue upon issue with installing them since they didn't even come with an instruction manual. After that, I went to several places and even they couldn't figure out how to mess with the wiring harness because it was very poorly made and just a pita. Once mounted and even installed, they were very temperamental. They either never turned on, stayed on even when the car was off if they did turn on, or just do other stupid crap. There was a piece that no one ever figured out where it was to attach to either. Don't waste your time, please. Either get the OEM ones from the stealership or get VRD ones. Yes, they are more expensive, but less headaches. I called redneck like 53348923 times for help.
