Basically right now I drive a 97 honda prelude. My car just hit 90k miles and i'm ready to step it up to a new car. One of my top choices is the TC.
I've heard good things and I've heard bad things. I'm looking for a something quick and reliable. I've heard that the auto's are a little on the slow side so I'm definitely looking at a 5 speed. I was also wondering about the Supercharger that is available. Would you say it was worth it? I know it puts the car's HP up to 215 or so. Other then that- Is their anything bad about the car? Any help is much apreciated. thanks ** And does anyone know of any bay area scion forums etc? |

well I have always been a Honda guy myself and I just got a 07 TC about a month ago. To tell you the truth I had been car shopping for about 2 years and I looked at just about everything. I was really leaning towards Honda or Acura but my problem is that I am way too picky. Finally I decided to check out the TC's and I am so happy I did. When they first came out, I assumed that they were not made too well only because they were so inexpensive. But I fell in love with it right away. Everything about it from the look appeal to the way it drives. Especially when it comes to performance, I want it all. There are plenty of parts out there for mods and for stock it comes with some balls. I compare it to a stock SI. It definately has potential, you just need to give it some TLC. Honestly if you are accustomed to driving a Honda, this will be easy to change to and you won't be disappointed. As far as the goods and bads, every vehicle has the pro's and con's. When you weigh them against each other, the pro's definately out way the con's. Hopefully this helps you out and my best advice to you is go drive one and see how it feels for yourself. I highly doubt you will be disappointed.
