About LinkBacksso my friend said i should take out my rear tc emblem.
so i let him do it. and the idiot use the rough end of a sponge to get the sticky stuff off. now theres a bunch of scratches
HOW DO I MAKE THEM GO AWAY!!!! its very upsetting and chip does not like the scratches at alll hes quite upset.
help asap!

First, tell Chip to backover your dumb friend a few times. Just kidding. Make it just once.
Atleast give them a slap upside the back of the head. Now take a deep breath.
Do you have a pic of the damage? Some scratches just cannot be removed. That will require repainting.How Fast Was I Going?

Good news. With the color of your car and the appearance of the scratches as scuff marks, a 3 step mechanical buff polish should do the trick. It may not be able to be back to 100% glossy, but it should pass unnoticed by most.

Not up on today's prices I would average a cheap grade, plain hood around $350. A better grade plain hood would be in the $400-$500 range. CF hatches are probably around $700.
