    Engine dampner is going to make more feel, not sound. Donīt worry about it if you have loud exhaust. Will not work with a front strut bar without replacing the strutīs upper mounting studs with longer ones.

    Means adding the damper will change they way your car feels, not sounds. The dampers keep your engine in place so it doesn't jolt back durring take off and what not. I say phuc the damper and get yourself a front strut bar.

    the strut bar is the better choice.

    By adding an engine torque damper (Ingalls) ex. will not make anything louder. If anything it makes everything smoother. An engine torque damper helps in many ways.

    * Improved off-the-line traction
    * Reduced wheel hop
    * Improved vehicle stability
    * Smoother shifting
    * Reduced shock loads on driveline components and exhaust

    A strut bar on the other hand is another great upgrade, but it doesn't do everything as a torque damper does. In some cases some modification is required when adding a torque damper. When installing a torque damper, you'll want to adjust the setting/stiffness accordingly.
