Default What TC should i drive of the lot?

I am strongly considering buying a 5 speed TC as soon as I finish selling my 06 Rolla but am at a loss as to which options I should consider. I want to keep the cost under G but still consider getting some options. I plan on adding an Alpine AV unit later so no use in upgrading to the ipod-compatable pioneer system. I like the look of the pedestal spoiler offered at the stealership but am wondering what it would cost to buy a similar aftermarket spoiler, match the paint, and install it. Also, I prefer the look of the car with the ground effects kit over the stock look but feel there may nicer options out there for a similar price? Any opinions on the kit offered at the stealership (good buy, decent looking, worth the price, better options, pros/cons etc?) Im completely indecisive about it. Should I add Fog lights (dont need them but appearance, oem or aftermarket? Any options you recommend? I have a 15% discount on trd parts from the dealer so i can slowly add stuff later. Any suggestions on options and color choices(I like the darker colors but get irritated with how easily they begin to look dirty so Im looking into the silver metallic)? Oh, will a ported box with two 12's fit in the trunK? Im hoping to transfer my audio set up into the TC. Thanks in advance and any helpful information is greatly appreciated.

First of all, get the silver or white tC...it looks the best. if you want to modify your car, look in forums like this one. YOu can also look on ebay... always find stuff for the tC really cheap. I would just look for the pedestal spoiler for the tC in your color, on these forums or websites. Could save hundreds on aftermarket products. GET THE GROUND AFFECTS KIT, and if you can look for them again on website and forums. DONT GET FOG LIGHTS, not needed if you live where it doesnt rain all the time. If you want to get the trd exhaust then go ahead. there are better options out there, HKS Hi-power Exhaust, or the Greddy Turbo SP2 Exhaust..really really good stuff! get interior lights too, always look nice in the tC. tint your windows! air intake would be good-Injen CAI. Lowering Springs-Tech S. if you can afford it, forced induction which could mean supercharger or turbocharger....GO TURBO

def going silver and tinting windows... but i dont trust eBay. most sellers have an "as is" policy or complex returns. tricky and stressfull.

Default Why not keep the Pioneer head unit?

Why would you want to go to the unneeded expense and headache to put in an Alpine system when the Pioneer head unit is so good?

I would buy the white tc and put on the carbon fiber rs1 lip kit, tyc's and black them out, carbon fiber hood and trunk, slammed on s-techs, with a gloss black 18x8.5" wheel with a machined lip, dc sports exhaust, monster motor works header, and tints, and you are ready for one sirius car

for a system i would use Focal speakers with JL subs, and the alpine double din touchscreen all powered by the JL 500/1 and the JL 300/4, this is a perfect set up, trust me, i work at TWEETER

i was originally gonna get a black tc, but just thinking about water spots on my shiny black paint made me twitch, so i went with azure pearl, it looks light blue in the day, and silver at night!!! i love it

Don't finance what you can easily install for the same amount of money. Finance what will cost ya a mint in labor to install. The Scion upgrade products are the same cost from the port or at the dealer. You have to think about how hard it is to install.

    Example:

    Things better off done at the port;
    1. TRD S/C
    2. Rear spoiler
    3. Scion Alarm (waste)
    4. Ground effects
    5. TRD clutch
    6. TRD suspension

Things to install on your own
    1. IPOD upgrade
    2. Fog lights
    3. CAI
    4. 18" TRD tires/rims
    5. floor mats
    6. etc, etc

The tC has a set base price. If you finance to upgrade to 18" rims or the IPOD CD changer upgrade, your paying for the stock items and the upgrade prices. Why not just keep the 17"s or stock radio and then just sell them on ebay?

Well, I wouldn't BUY the GFX Kit off of the Stealership. Too expensive. I'd rather find it elsewhere and buy it. You can always find other type of lips or even bodykits. That should save you almost a "G" at the dealership that is. But Navy got your list. You can follow it or do it on your own.

The main factors to consider are whether to have it as part of the financing to save on the labor or to pay cash at a later time. The latter having the variables of installation costs (painting, consumables, labor), shipping, and quality of work. You also won't have a dealershi or Scion to go to when things go wrong.
