At first, it appeared to be an OBDII port monitor. The wording was not very definable about it's tuning abilities so this warranted a call to tech support. What was divulged was that it is NOT and OBDII device. It requires splicing into the factory wiring (not always a good thing) and will net only 5HP. It basically alters the voltage of the sensor to fool the ECM and is not adjustable (not always a smart idea). Does not produce any benefits on F/I.

My thoughts are that it is an awful lot of money outlaid for just 5HP. Par this with the facts that it requires splicing, non adjustable, and does not take advantage of other power adders make this not something that you want to spend your hard earned dough on. Leave it for those KIA guys.

If you want the ability monitor engine sensors/variables and have a 2007-up tC then get one of those OBDII/CAN monitors like from MSD, Blitz, Greddy, HKS, etc.

you may want to be careful of these things, yeah some of them are a rip off and some cause some improvements so its just a big leap of faith in deciding to install them in your car.

Save your money. A piggyback controller is what you are getting. It, like all piggybacks, have no control over ignition timing. All you can do is dump more fuel at WOT. The ECM will nullify about 1/3 of the overall gain once it has had a chance to relearn. Unless you are F/I or a fully built N/A motor with increased compression and larger cams, save your money.
