I know my HID's were $125.00 for the 8000K's (9006). The best thing I can do so I don't tell you the wrong price, is contact my buddy: iimcustom@yahoo.com or (607) 621-9151 and he'll give you the correct price. I love mine and have had no issues what so ever.

The HID's I have 8000K and are plug and play. IMO they don't look terrible, they make a huge difference over OEM bulbs. Once you have a set, I highly doubt you'll ever want to go back to OEM's again. If you want a set let me know and what bulb you need.

Mine ran me $125.00 for the low beams and $125.00 for the fog lights. What I can do is when I know what bulbs your tC takes and what K you want, let me know and I will have a price either the same day or the following day. If it was me I would go either a 6000K or 8000K and more than likely yours will be an H11 Bulb, just confirm so I make sure you get the correct stuff. You can send me the money and then I pass that money right on to my buddy Jason Rozelle, then he orders the bulbs, when they arrive, I ship them off to you.

Those are the older analog style ballast. They work OK but the can cause EMI with radio reception and sometimes fail. My '07 Camry with the auto lights feature caused a ballast to go bad. The lights come on with the key but shut-off during the start sequence. Not an issue with the tC as we don't have that feature. I ended up getting replacements from a different company but same ballasts, that I installed on my '05 tC. These are mounted near the radiator. They lowered my FM radio reception range and quality by alot. It did the same on my Camry. Suggest going with a digital ballast. They are smaller and do not cause EMI. I have been happily running a set on my '07 Tundra that I got from Meng Motorpsorts for over 2 years w/o issue.

I rarely listen to the local radio stations either, so having poor antenna reception doesn't bother me. I replaced my OEM antenna 3 years ago with one from Perrin and I love the shorter look of the antenna, not into the RC Car look. On the other hand, my HID's are from T-View which my buddy sells and installs, neither my g/f or myself have had any issues with our HID's. We love ours, the look and the visibility over OEM is huge, we'll never go back to OEM bulbs. As far as price, yes some HID's aren't cheap and others are, as far as I am concerned, you get what you pay for when it comes to almost anything anymore. Almost everything in this world is mass produced, so eventually something is going to fail, that's a given. Some people buy from Ebay and have great success and others will only buy name brand from reputable sources, that's fine as well. I get knocked from people for buying mods from Ebay, I don't see what the issues is as long as your buying name brand stuff and you know what it is that your buying. Plus Ebay is usually cheaper than most online websites, so when it comes to money or if you have a budget, Ebay is a great choice. Just remember buyer beware!

    Scott,
Are these still the other ballasts Navy mentioned or did they switch to the newer slimmer ones?

The ballasts on my HID's are not slim, just normal size. My HID's work very well, much brighter than OEM and look amazing. If anyone wants a set for their tC, let me know.
