best way to spend money on tC? new vs. used...etc

Hey guys,
I want to buy a 05-06 tC and possibly supercharge it(in future). Do you have any advice for me? what's your buying experience?

Anyone successfully bought it for less then advertised?

When is the best time to buy?

Any deals? As of now I only know that there is the $400 rebate.

How about certified pre-owned (7-year warranty?)

How about getting a used one - little cheaper

my advice is dont waste your money on a used tC cuz they cost more than new ones due to the Pure Price Policy and commission sales of car dealers...(markup on used) i was told that if they sell it for less they get fined, and cars taken away...so i doubt youll find it for less...

The only used TC's I have seen go for cheap are those on car auctions where the TC had some kind of body damage. If you know a good body shop that might be a good way to do it. A buddy of mine bought a 06' TC with a bashed in door and wheel for like 6k and put like 5k in repairs. 11k not bad =)
