More Guy or Girl Scion Owners?

Don't know if it's just where I live, but 99% of the other TC's I see roll by are always ladies. As a guy... I'm not complaining... but what's your opinion?

It is very true down here in Southern Louisiana. I have only seen like 4 guys total driving a tC and I think 2 of them were their G/F 's car. Also, no one down here seems to be hip on the whole Scion genre. I went to the only cruise spot (parking lot) here and this guy with a tC that has been there alot did even bother to give me a nod back when I drove by.

down in south Florida there are a lot of both, but mostly girls, and for some strange reason they always look good, other then that older men drive them as well, custom tc's are a rare sight

It's a little more guys than gals here. . . maybe I haven't seen enough of the tC's. Seeing a custom tC is a rarity here too. Only thing I would recognize is a grounds effects kit with a tinted window and exhaust. I've seen ONE angel eyes on a tC.

buuuuut i could list a few guys that are friends of my guy that drive some.
mine is just dropped a few inches. nothin big.
i love this car though, wouldnt trade it for the world...

it is a little girly of a car but fun to modify and keep as a commuter...thats why i got it...also cause i flipped my lexus....aww

I have to agree with azndreamer... here in the bay area I think I've only seen like one or two other tC's that had female drivers. They all guys! I gotta hella crazy look from some guy in a black cherry one that drove by me earlier too.. i usually acknowledge other tC's but man, this guys looked like he was on some ****.

I'd agree with Touge and AznDreamer, also! Many, many guys in tC's here in the Bay Area. I've only seen a couple girls in tC's, and one of them is a good friend of mine. She's in a Black Cherry one with 15% tint on the back windows...

It's the same with the eclipse people thought thoes were girl cars now you see more guys modifying them and driving them the tc's will be that way soon lol if not allredy.

I see more girls driving the tC here in the south houston area. Only a few guys here and there. Only seen one that has been modified and it was only dropped and had aftermarket exhaust on it.

OK, I have been traveling in the Pacific, specifically Guam and Hawaii. There are alot, and I mean alot, of tC's tool'n around and they are all dudes. As soon as I get back Stateside and leave the Base here in New Orleans, I spy 3 tC's. You guessed it, they were all driven by chics. NOLA is such poor scene for tuners; male or female.

I'm a girl and here in NC i see girls as 99.5% of the drivers. But my boyfriend does drive mine.

Nothing against girl's driving tC's or any tuner/hotrod for that matter. It is just that the girls driving tC's here just don't seem to get the whole Scion Community ideology. They seem to be oblivious or ignore other tC's on the road here in New Orleans. In those rare occasions when I pull up next to a guy driving a tC, I get the traditional tC nod (vroom, vroom). This is one of the principle thoughts purposed into the Scion car line, a sense of community and culture that is specifically our own. No B/K Series, EVO, or Subie peeps here; just the smart, cultured Scion crowd.

I agree with Navy on that. Most of the chicks will look but just do not care one bit about the scion community. Most of the guys here are the same way. Most of the time i give a NOD but sometimes i give the deuce fingers out the window to make sure they see and are just not responding. Kinda sucks really. One of my brothers x's got a tC and when i see her driving she hardly ever waves. Might be other reasons involved in that one though. Ha Ha!!

I ran into a guy recently that I met sometime ago that lives on the same side of the river in New Orleans area that I do. He said that he was seriously thinking about getting rid of his tC cause no one on our side of the river ever wants to meet, ride, or show their tC's. I am the exception, but I am too busy flying around the Globe of Uncle Sammy.

I have gotten on like 4 forum sites now posting if there was anyone in the houston area that was going out showing. No one ever responds. My girlfriend drives an xB though. We will hook up from time to time and drive to where we are going and run along with other scions that will tag along. I see a lot of poeple out on the road but none in the forums. Guess i should start stopping them and talkig to em. Ha Ha!!
Navy i seen a few of your post talking about you will be gone for a little while due to your job. That has to suck some times.

Yeah, it does. I miss driving my ride for 45 days at a time. That is quickly made up for by trips to Hawaii, Japan, Australia, Germany, Sicily, Norway, Alaska, Carribean, etc. I do wish I could take my tC with me to drive in those places. I would so love to open her up on the Autobahn (Autostrada)!

Houstonian heh? I am from G-Town, near Big D. I am moving to Cowtown hopefully in December. I am going to work with Kenny Tran at Jotech to hold a major Scion event there this Spring.
