Hey whats up guys/girls, my name is Will I just purchased an 07. I had it for 2 days and put a muffler on it already lmao, it had like 53 miles on it when i did that. I cant have a quiet car it's not in my blood i guess. Just wondering if there are any "free mods" you can do to these things, oh BTW I got the 5 speed.

I figured i'd prolly get a full cat back system and a header, + cold air kit for it soon.

I live in Waco, Tx these cars seem to be pretty popular down here.

Header aint worth it for NA. It will make your exhaust sound really bad . You will have to replace the OEM resonator with a better one.

CAI is a good place to start

Retrofit your OEM engine bay grounding. Many tips in the forums about this. Sav your money and do it yourself with hi-end stereo pwr cables.

Chunk the plastic engine cover and paint the valve cover. Looks cool.

Paint your OEM calipers red with Autozones caliper paint kit.

Change your head lights to Sylvania Ultra Silverstars. Change all other bulbs over to LEDs.

Purchase Xpel Technologies headlamp lense protectors to keep your plastic lenses like new.

Use Royal Purple Water Wetter to bring the operating temp of your coolant down. Good for those cool Texas summers!

Use Royal Purple or other quality synthetic oil. I also use Lucas Oil Stabilizer.

Proper tire inflation.

Easy upgrades are Nology plug wires, Ingalls Stiffy, ZPI (or other) lightweight crank pulley, Hotchkis/TRD front strut brace and the list goes on.

Happy to help if ya have further questions

resinator your reffering to the long looking big pipe in the center of the car? I was just goin to cut it off along with that 2nd cat, seems as there are no 02 sensors after that it wont throw any engine codes plus the exhaust would flow a little more freely, thats basicly all those full cat back exhaust's are doing if you look at the off road version of them. so basicly i'll be saving about 700 bux cause I wont need to purchase that catback system.

Do that and your ride will sound liked canned arse. Atleast run a straight pipe back to a good muffler.
