    Default 2011 Scion tc

I have been watching some videos on youtube of the previews of the new scion tc, and all i see in the comments sections is just pure hate, i actually like the new design of the car and it looks more sportier in my opinion, and actually looks better than the older models.

    An thoughts?

Well, I find the new dash a bit utilitarian with an econobox feel. The vents are horrid. I do like the new gauge cluster but loath the red lighting. As far as the exterior, Scion lost me on the box shape at the corners. I am digging the 6-speed trans (LSD???) and the electric steering.

I've been out of the scene for a while. Still not fully back into it. I just checked out a couple of quick videos on it. The front looks like a Honda Civic. The back is just horrible. The roof almost looking like an XB?...Not really my thing. However, I might look into it some more with the addition of HP and a six-speed manual.

What's up, Scott? I've been going through alot of stuff since I was on here last. I've moved and have been working lots of hours. Yes, I still have my tC. I actually got behind on the payments and it got repo'ed earlier this year. I had to come up with about $2,000 to get it back. So, I paid it and got her back. With the addition of a couple of scrathes thanks to the tow truck. Ever since, I've been trying to keep it a month ahead.

Turns out MAACO did a horrible job at painting my bumper (everybody already knew that). I now have these cool lines in the paint and even some spider-web designs! I think you know what I mean by that.

I'm still trying to find an affordable STi though. I'm also kind of intrigued with the new tC. Primarily because of the new engine and transmission. Only a test drive will tell me if it's any good or not. No, I don't want to get rid of my car, but if the oppurtunity arises for an STi...I have to take it. We shall see. I'll be getting some work done to it soon though. No modifications, just preventative maintenance. You can check out what I plan on doing in my journal.

Wow. That sucks. I hate it when people just don't give a crap about other people's stuff. I have the same problem with my rear bumper where the Dealership put a hole in it/ I demanded that they replace it and not repair. Well they did a repair on it that I could not tell for about a year. That was, till the repair started showing thru the paint. Now the paint is stripping off where the lines had formed. Needless to say that I am going to call them out on their shoddy work.

That's why they're mostly referred to as "steal"erships. I won't be going back to MAACO for another paint job. Just too much of a hassle.

I feel you on the MACCO job totally screwed up my paint. It is creating bubbles on it now and cracking.

When it comes to paint and body work, you really do get what you pay for. I have yet to see the exception to this.

i just googled some images on the new tc. it looks horrible. i'm not even jealous of the engine. it needs more power and a few extra horses just isn't gonna cut it. i do wish i had a 6 speed though.
