Default disableing the volume

does anyone have a way to disable the automatic volume adjustment .i hate the radio changing volume levels when i drive.i would appreciate it.

yea it loudens as i drive, then it lowers as i slow down.

hes right, at first i thought i was my cd's then after trying different cd's it did the same thing, even when i have ppl in the car with me, they point it out, some times it changes volume randomly, it had me goin nuts but finally someone else hears it too....

i have never noticed that. i'll have to try to pay attention to it next time i'm in the car. haha.

Yeah when you push your audio control knob on the stereo there is a setting that is called ASL I believe. Anyway you want to make sure that it is set to off. There are four settings, off, low, mid, and high. The higher that you have it set, the louder and softer the radio will get as you drive. I hate it too so trust me, I made sure I took care of that right away!

do you have to hold it in or is it in with the bass and other volume controls? i don't have the asl option in that.

No problem guys. No you don't have to hold it in at all. It is where your bass, treble and other audio controls are. Now Scion has different types of radios and I am not sure if they all have this function. Also they chnged the style of the radio in 2007 I believe because of the complaints they were recieving. It is possible that in the old version or a different style that you may not be able to control this feature. I work at a Scion dealer so I will find out for sure!

hey if u have a stock tc 08 then with just the regular sound system not the premium
how do u change the sound levels and access the sub woofs and control the loudness ASL

alsooo how do you change the screen to blue

You cant change the screen to blue in the stock 08's.
And any year before 08 does not have ASL.
