    Question replacement wiper blades?

What is everyone using for wiper blades? What do you like? What is junk? Add your review!!

I've been using trico neoform beam wiper blades for quite a while now after switching from icons. IMO they work excellent, are super quiet, look great and are the lowest-priced top-of-the-line wiper out there. Before buying another set...is there anything new and exciting out there? Are there any disaters waiting to happen? Anyone? Bueller?

Pauli girl likes a clean wipe. Anco is about the cheapest you want to go an dreplace them every 6-8 months. I have tried those expensive Bosch ones that barely seemed to be worth the money.

The Bosch are awful in dusty climates. I tried them out and they lasted about two months. I stick with the Tricos, generally.

I've been using and have had excellent success w/ Rain-X Latitude Wiper Blades. They contour to the shape of your windshield and work great. Had them on my tC for 2 yrs now and no issues.

The Rain-x latitude blades are deff the best ones ive had so far. my old ones seemed like they started pulling off the window while wiping at higher speeds. latitude doesnt do anything of the sort.

Best set I've had were the original ones from the dealer, still trying to find another good set myself. used replacement OEM, rain X, Bosch, etc. still not as good as that very first set.

How old / How many miles on your car? Or, to be more specific, how many miles on your windshield? I've noticed that as my windshield gets older, it gets more and more pitted and rough (of course, I'm a notorious tailgater). So, the older my windshield, the faster I go through wiper blades because the glass is essentially fine sand paper. I agree with you - new OE wipers on new OE windshields are AWESOME!!

One thing I tried a few years ago was applying aquapel glass treatment to my windshield. This doesn't solve the problem altogether, but the combo of aquapel and new wipers every 6 months to a year brings the perfomance much closer to when the glass was new.

You should get Paulie Girl to give you those mugs, give her some polishing rags, and get her butt to work.

Pitting causes puddling. There are windscreen polishing kits out on the market. They can be expensive and suffice to say, will only get rid of swirl marks, not pitting. There should be a clear acrylic liquid that can be applied to fill in those pits and then polish the window out. I want what they have on those NASCAR windscreens; the removable laminate layers that keep the window clean and protected.

I prefer she works on lower parts of the car... I agree - you are pretty much stuck with your windshield unless you get a new one. Really the only thing you can do is keep your wipers in good shape and use glass treatment. I really like my set-up but its never going to be as good as a brand new windshield and brand new wipers.

Well, I seem to have gotten some luck. A hail storm last week as presented me with an option of getting my glass replaced along with the dent repairs.

One hopes so. My '05 got a few minor dings that I am going to take care of myself, but the RS3.0 and '07 Camry look pretty bad.
