Default A little bit of a dilemma....

Hi! I have an 08 tc that i had just bought about 2 weeks ago. Im looking to put in some performance parts, and since im use to having euro cars not really sure where to start. (drove a saab and had no idea what to do with it sometimes...) anyways... im not really too sure where to start, whether i should go with a weapon r or the injen. (It gets awfully wet where i live so id be running short ram.)

I also have a quick exhaust question for anyone willing to help...

I want to upgrade the exhaust as well (obviously... lol) and im looking for one that will not cause my emissions to go bad. Im also looking to keep it kind of quiet.

If your looking for a CAI, go w/ AEM, Injen or Weapon-R. Having a cold-air intake will be fine as long as your drivers side inner fender is intact, no holes or cracks. Keep in mind that todays roads are paved and angled to recede the water to the edge, so puddle are going to be on the passenger side. Futhermore, it would be best to avoid any deep water, other than that you'll be fine. I have an AEM CAI on my o6 Scion tC and I have had no issue w/ hydro-locking.

Secondly, if your looking to upgrade your exhaust w/ having mellow, deep, smooth tone in mind, I would suggest TRD Axel Back, Magnaflow and Borla. I am not a huge fan of fart cans/cannister mufflers, so if you want something that looks and sounds good with less attention from law enforcement, look into the ones I mentioned.
