    Default Reputable tC Parts Sites?

Has anyone ever bought anything off of:
CustomTC.com - your source for Scion TC aftermarket accessories, parts and decals?
The feedback on the site seems good and they have a decent variety of products.

Any other sites that are worth checking out for parts & accessories?

I have personally bought from CustomtC.com. They are located out of Liverpool, NY which is about an hours drive from me. There are tons and tons of after market websites for Scion tC's, but the ones I like are as follows:

    FastScions.com
    TRDSparks.com
    Mengmotorsports.com
    KillertC.com
    doctorisotope.com
    PasswordJDM.com
    keytechniques.com
    killerglass.com
    racingsolution.com
    niabodykits.com
    scionpro.com

If there is anything specific your looking for and can't find it, just ask me. I can find just about anything.

I shall do that I also washed and waxed her yesterday...and did take pictures! I'll have to put them in an album too. And just so we're clear...I LOVE the color of my car. When it's really clean, and you look at the door, you can't even tell it's dark blue!

That was what my 2005 Indigo Ink looked like all polished up. The metal flake really sparkled in the bright Sun. The sodium vapor lights used on the Base gave it a near purple look. I want a more brilliant and lighter blue like on the Subies.

When using wax, make sure it is rubber and plastic safe. If it does not state that, you should assume that it isn't. Some waxes can stain rubber and plastic leaving it dull. Eventually it will turn into a white powder residue and can damage those surfaces. Meguiars Gold Class Trim Detailer and Mother's Back to Black are two high quality products to dress trim. I have not used the Meguiars but I have the Mother's. It did a decent job on restoring the rubber trim but took 2 applications. It did not do much of anything for the plastic. I then came across Bondo Restore to Black gloss gel. This stuff is more like a dye than a coating. This stuff does wonders on aged rubber and successfully restores most plastic with oxidized and wax laden surface. My mud guards took a couple of wacks but they are shiny black once again. Word of caution on the application. Use painter's tape to block off all surfaces as this will adhere to just about anything including glass. It will come off but takes some rubbing to get it off. The application lasts for a long time, as it is a dye, so the extra effort taping off the areas around the trim is worth the outcome. Enjoy.

Boyyyy, you don't know who you're talking too. Ya see, haha, my Dad started his own detailing business. We've got all the pro supplies Now it's MY time to teach YOU...

Auto Magic makes an AWESOME dressing called Magic Dressing No. 33. It's a "solvent-based exterior dressing for hard surface material such as tires, vinyl, and trim. Extra long-lasting high gloss with water repellent protection." I promise you that it works BETTER than Mother's. I use a microfiber cloth to wipe it on and the beauty of it is, if it does get on the paint, you can just wipe it right off, so always keep an additional cloth on hand just in case. And if you find you put it on too thick, if you go over it in a circular motion with that other cloth, you'll easily fix it. I use it on all of the black on the car...Door pillars, the black on the mirrors, the plastic around the windows, etc.

He also has a great conditioning product for weather stripping. I'll have to find out what that one is and get back to you. It's by the same company though.

On the tires, after they're cleaned, my favorite product is Armor All's Tire Foam. I love the shine that it gives the tires.

Well, I am always willing to be schooled in a better method or product. Auto Magic sounds familiar but I may be mixing it up with Blue Magic. I have absolutely no experience with professional grade car care products, only the consumer stuff. Like alot of gas/oil additives, there is a lot of snake oil being sold in the consumer car car business.

Looking at Eagle One, Meguiars, and Mother's product line-up, they each have about 3 different wash soaps and about the same with waxes. There is the original. Then there is the new and improved. Next is the "Next step in car waxing technology". Then a left hook from nowhere, bam! The high-tech wonder wax that outshines all others. Wait a tic. Isn't that what you said about the previous wax? I must of spent $3000.00 on car wash and detailing products over the past 6 years but my clear coat does not look show room shine. The only product that I can believe in is the claybar. I don't use the blue Claybar brand as it scratch up my clear coat. Same goes for all of these tire foams, spray, and wipes. I remember the good old days when Armor All used to do the trick on tires. I don't know if they changed their formulation or the tires that I use have a different formulation (silica?) that causes Armor All's original spray not to work worth a crud anymore. I have been using Meguiar's new Tire Shine spray to some good effect.

Can you give us a list of the best Auto Magic products to use?
