    So, I have about 800-1000 dollars I can spend. I have a CAI and cat-back exaughst, also EBC slotted dimpled rotors and hotkins sway bars, i was thinking springs and struts, or headers and pullies. again the total when im done with labor cant be more than 1K. Any suggestions?

    If your looking to upgrade springs and struts, I would suggest the following:

    * Eibach Springs
    * Tokico HP Series Struts
    * DC Sport, Weapon-R, Alphawerks or Strup (Header)
    * Agency or NST (Non-Stop Tuning) - The Light Weight Crank Pulley is plenty sufficient, the Alternator and Water Pump Pulley aren't necessary.
    * RS1/RS2 Lip Kit, Side Skirts and Rear Lip

    what do you think would be the total parts cost for doing all of that?
    i know DC header is like 300 pully is about 125 could i get springs and struts for less than 500?

    The cost for all the above is going to vary pending on where you buy from. What I do when I am shopping for mods, is search Google and get prices w/ shipping. I go w/ the cheapest price w/ shipping. Some times Ebay is cheaper and other times it isn't. Next to factor in is labor charges, pending on if your installing the parts or a shop is doing the work.

    IMO, I feel you can do the struts, header and springs for less that 1K, the other mods might be pushing the envelope a wee bit. FYI, if your getting a header, make sure you get a CEL Eliminator (Weapon-R) from FastScions or Dezod has them. If your going to do a header I would also like to suggest doing an S-Pipe (Invidia), if you haven't done so already.

    The Weapon-R comes w/ the down-pipe/s-pipe.

    Yes, yes, yes. As a DC Sports header owner, trust me, go with the WR. It is a 4-2-1 design (Better DD and throttle response), comes with the s-pipe, and is of much better quality. You should be able to find a LW crank pulley for a little less than that. NST is the brand to go with. Those two mods will open you eyes on the butt dyno.

    so go WR header and NST crank, think i mild tune would help with my mods? I dont wanna spend 4-500 on a tune im looking for someone to mess with it for an hour or so, but i really dont know how tuning works so any advice on that, ive been thinking springs and struts at this point probably arent worth it, just simply dont have power really needed for them, but i was hoping with the pully and WR header plus tune to be about 190WHP is that obtainable?

    I would not see 190 at the wheels as possible without an aggressive naturally-aspirated rebuild or forced induction. When companies claim things like "gains up to 12 whp" they aren't telling you what else was on the car. Intake and exhaust compliment each other. If you are getting 3 whp with a CAI and 3 whp with a header, then you could expect to see 7-8 whp with both. Redoing the full exhaust with hi-flow or deleted catalytic converters, a high-flow muffler, and increased tubing inner diameter will further reduce airflow restrictions. This will probably get you the +12 whp.

    The lightweight pulley (and lightweight flywheel is in the same category) doesn't actually add hp. It reduces the reciprocating mass on the crankshaft, thereby increasing rpm response; it gets up to higher rpms faster when you floor it.

    Now, that being said, these are still solid mods and you WILL notice a difference. Another option for you is to go with those two, then bank the remaining cash. Then you can spring for some better tires when your current set wears out.
