you can buy anything as long as the dealer puts it on your coverd.

U mean TRD... yes TRD parts are covered by a year warrenty when you install it yourself.
"I still try to think positive, cuz in life, god take, god give"
So you can buy aftermarket parts and if the dealer installs it they will be covered by warrenty??? is that true???
No, I highly doubt that.
Non-TRD, parts, not installed by TRD, are likely to void your warranty should they ever cause problems.
There are stipulations in the Act that does not cover any changes to the emissions system on your vehicle or any environmental. So if you change your muffler no problem. Change your header, there is. Change your A/C system from R-134a to R-12, then your A/C system is voided and nothing else. Run C-16 race gas in your motor and burn a piston ring, then your motor will be voided, not the tranny. Install lowering springs then your alignment, struts, and tires will not be covered if an issue in those systems develops. Same situation, if you exhaust pipe is damaged from hitting a curb or speed bump, then your exhaust can be voided, but if your CAT clogs it will be covered.
There has to be a direct correlation between addition/mods and any breakage/damage. On the flipside, you install a CAI then your radio stops working, then there is no correlation making it a covered item.
How Fast Was I Going?
