Guys it does have a Toyota engine in it after all. Back in the day I had an 87' Toyota Corolla that had 165k miles on it. I drove that thing like a bat out of hell, never changed the oil, and it ran up untill 238k before it stopped due to the fact the brakes always seized up. I sold the car after that started but chances are with the brakes fixed it had another good 50k of life in it.
You can use, abuse and beat the heck out of these engines. You may go through 30 clutches, 50 set of brakes, and a mountain full of tires, but chances are it'll still run strong. Toyota for Life! |

2 front tires completely bald after 10,000 miles. Had to get alignment and 2 new tires --> $400 later.
Then... 15,000 miles had to replace "rear axle hub bearing" or something like that --> $600 dollars later - not covered by the warranty. |
