Fuse Box

Can anyone tell me where the fuse box on an 06 tC is located for the cigarette lighter. The owners manual says under left side of dash but I can't see it.

yeah, left side under dash, a little door pops out to reveal it, kinda hard to miss

You mean 12VDC power port don't you? The tC is a non-smoking car.

yeah dude, no smoking!! there is also a fuse box under the hood next to the intake, although i dont know what that is for

That one is for highcurrent apps. and relays.

I found the door and the block by the intake but no fuse block behind the door (if it is the one by the hood release handle that pop out) and no power adapter fuse in the one by the intake. Any other ideas?

It is the little black, rectangular plate near the hood release. The owner's manual can tell you exactly where it is.

shove head in driver head footwell.. and then look up.... by the hood release.
