but i want to eliminate all amber lights so would the custom gauges do that?
on the first link they sell the gauge face that will change it to blue and the look of the face to a nicer look, and its a pretty good price. you can change all ur lights in ur ride with that link

one.. don't buy anything from that first link... not worth it.
two, soldering rework is required to switch out the stock amber leds out to blue ones... requires skills in well, soldering.
the hvac requires more work than just switching out leds due to the circuit layout and will need to have other components replaced as well (the voltage regulator and 7 resistors to redo the circuit)

just to add, an experienced person like myself will take anywhere from 2-3 hours to finish the whole car (gauges, hvac, door switches, steering wheel controls)
i would set aside around 5-8 hours for someone not familiar with what they are doing.
LEDs.... yay!

Didn't want to start a whole new thread, so I'm reviving this one. Like recycling.
I just changed out my dome lights (front & back), map lights (part of the front dome light) and my cubby hole light. This with the gauges done by SquallHeart a while ago, the interior is really coming together. I'll post pictures soon.
BTW, there is a walk through on how to change the cubby hole light on this forum that was perfect! Everything else I read talked about removing the whole damn waterfall. I just undid the carpet on the passanger side and found the light. Thank you!

that's great to hear buddy!
yeah... even though removing the waterfall doesn't take too much time.. pshh.. being lazy and efficient is always a nice thing.. and going thru the passenger side footwell, imo, is better and faster for me to change out the cubby light.
btw, i put up a small facebook fan page for my led stuff if you wanna become a fan

i think i put the option where you can upload your own pictures if you wanted to.. dunno..
