Default New look for two tone LED swap

So the past few weeks Ive been ask by fellow tC owners why certain pics in my LED swap photobucket is different from the other. They are addressing the center Speedo gauge face and why in this picture it seem much more brighter and whiter.

If you have a two tone you will notice the km/h numbers on the left and right have a hint of orange tint on them. Some notice this, some dont. The orange that you see if left behind a diffuser coating on the gauge faces that still has a bit of orange on them. Hence giving you the off-white colors in this area.

The initial way to go around this is by having colored numbers and white lines.

Which does do a good job of hiding the orange but now the ticks are more noticeable! =/

Heres a pic of how a two tone looks like w/o having the diffuser removed.

    With diffuser:

    Without diffuser:

Note: Removing the diffuser does not create a glaring LED in your face. However, the passenger side does see a brighter spot but at a certain angle.

If anyone is down here in Texas and would like their gauges done and HVAC replaced. I know someone who does it and will come to you. Worth asking him. If you need his info pls PM me and i will get it to you.

I asked him about the color changing needles as well and he said he is working on those however still working the bugs out. He can mod the needles as well.
