LED question

This is a discussion on LED question within the Interior Items forums, part of the Scion tC category; so i want to change my gauges and center console lights to blue instead of orange. so do i just ...

    Default LED question

    so i want to change my gauges and center console lights to blue instead of orange.

    so do i just need to buy different colored LEDs?

    i want like the picture below.

    so can someone help me out here?
    and heres how i want the center too.

    and heres how i want the center too.
    i bought mine for like $20 but i havent had them installed yet. its going to cost me $150 because the soldering takes like 2-4 hours for the hole thing both gauges and center console. i also ordered the blue needles but i figure id wait till i had the cash to do it all at once

    ok. see i didnt realize this would involve soldering.... because it said plug and play.

    and i was like oh this will be pretty cheap too. but whatever. i can wait for a while.

    whats the site? that would be alot cheaper and better if there were such a thing... not saying there isnt but i dont know

    If your going to have your gauges/HVAC LED's swapped, have a professional do it. This requires a good deal of knowledge of solidering and a steady hand. Not something I would suggest doing if you've never done it. You can also opt to have the clock reversed/flipped which looks sick IMO, worth looking into as well.

    the good thing about it is my friend use to run his own shop and is now a civil engineer so i trust the guy fully. he's the only one i let work on my car when it comes to electronics. what do you mean about opting to have the clock reversed / flipped? do you have a pick of it?
