I have door poppers. They consist of a 50lb selenoid that when activated via remote forces the latch undone, then at the base of the door is a spring that pops the door open. It's pretty sick. When the car is primed and painted, you'll see how good it looks with the car being smooth all the way around.

o ok I get it... what are the chances of that malfunctioning? and what would you do if it did? I guess it would be one side or the other and u could just climb in thru the other door!
I'm interested in ballin stuff like that tho. good conversation starters since I suck at conversation starting

The chances or malfunction are supposed to be minimal, however if there were a malfunction, there is a hidden button on the outside of the car that forces the door open. So, incase the car battery dies or you lose your remote, this button holds enough voltage in it to open the door one time, so it is a kind of fail safe.
