I've had the car for a little more than 12k and love it more and more every day. Check out the pictures and tell me what you think. All critisism is welcome. Thanks for all the help and insight over the years.

Looking good. Reds is right about the color combinations. You might want to change the engine cover color from white to a blue or black. You could continue your purple dash lights onto the engine cover and other engine compartment items. Definitely need to paint that stock header though. VHT has a new ceramic header paint claimed to be flame proof. If you are stuck (emissions) with the OEM header, then I would send it off to be professionally ceramic coated by Jet Hot, Swain Tech, Performance Coating.

This is a list of what I want. Kinda want show and go. Any opinions and/or testamony is awesome. Also, I think I will repaint the engine cover to match the interior. With that, I wanted to get LEDs in my dome light, but don't know if I should go with purple to match the dash lights, or blue to match the paint...

You offered up "transmition". I'm kinda at a stalemate with that system of my car right now. Sooooo, if you have any other ideas and/or opinions... I'm all ears.

Well, I have an ultraviolet LED in my dome that looks cool. Gives a slight blacklight effect that is very subtle. My second hotrod was a boomer (freak'n huge subs) that I accented with a 12VDC fishing blacklight. It was 2 ft long and came in a compact aluminum enclosure. I had it situated on my sub enclosure facing out the hatch window. Man, did it freak people out. That was back in 1990; the Old Skool days.

Your list looks good so I will point out a few that need discussion.
    1. C-pillar. Save your money here. Unless you track your car for the twisties, you won't realize any benefits of it. The only c-pillars that I have seen are implemented poorly. If you travel with peeps in the back, it will be uncomfortable.
    2. Be careful which full 3rd bake light you get. Some out there are defective shortly after install.
    3. If your going for show, you need to dress up that fugly battery and cables/connectors. You can paint the OEM batt, get a billet/chrome cover, or Optima/Braille/Odessey batt. The grounding kits from Buddy Club, Sun, HKS, etc are functional and good looking upgrades to OEM cables. Finish off with some high amp terminals.
    3. Why would you convert your mirror LEDs to white, then tint them? I am thinking counter productive, but I maybe totally off on this.
    4. Brakes - If you don't already have them, a good set of SS brake lines and a good set of Axxis, Hawk, or EBC brake pads. I am running the EBC rreds but will probably switch to the yellows. Drilled/cross-drilled rotors look sic and are very functional. Don't skimp here. Buy only the best.
    5. Got HIDs? Mengsta from Meng Motorsports has slim line, affordable, and high quality units.
    6. Xpel Technologies and Laminx make some killa 5mil protective overlays for the headlamps among other things. They have from clear to smoke to yellow and to blue. Guess which one I picked?
    7. Motorized waterfall cover for cool points.
    8. If you are planning on cams, you should spend the money for CNC port/polish head work. You will get more out of those cams.

Brakes: What's a good brand for the SS lines? I wnat drilled rotors, but I'm weary of any brand that drills the holes afterwards, cuz they cause stress points. Does anyone cast the rotors with the holes?

As far as engine dress up, what prep work is there to paint the positive terminal cover? Would I need high temp paint for anything in the engine bay (ex: battery tie down)?

Any and all plastic pieces need to be painted with a plastic or urethane trim paint. These paints are formulated with special solvents that adhere to the plastic better than traditional solvents. There is also a DupliColor Adhesion Promoter that you can use as a base for traditional automotive paint. Prep work is key to a long-lasting finish.

You are absolutely correct about stress fatigue cracks in most drilled rotors. That is why a rotor has to be purposely designed, preferably by CAD equipment. Pitfalls of drilling thru a vane can cause the entire rotor to disintegrate. Also, the holes have to have radius chamfering to prevent localized stress fractures around the holes. If the rotor is slotted then they too should have a radius chamfer. Even though the rotor may have been CNC machined, it still needs to be fine balanced so make sure it states that in the product documentation. The set on my car has all of these features. I believe that mine are still offered by RotorPros.

As for brake lines, try Goodridge or StopTech.
