how do i stop getting emails when someone replies to a thread that i posted in? the way that this site has it worded is weird.

Two things seem to be happening here:

1) You seem to have set the option to on that allows you to be subscribed to threads that you have posted in. You can turn that off in your user control panel.

2) To view the threads that you are subscribed to... click on User CP at the top left of the site. In there on the left side menu you will find 'subscriptions'. There you can view or delete any thread subscriptions that you have.
