I got some snapshots of the fogs at night. I've just been lazy and haven't posted them up yet. They are ALOT brighter than my headlights, so it looks kind of funny. I don't care though. It will all even out once I complete my retro-fit.

Well, the pic shows the lights more yellow than they really are. They're Sylvania Silver Stars and they're actually pretty white. One I save up the $535 I will do my retrofit with brand new 4300K bulbs which should make everything pretty much uniform.

Yeah, I've seen them before. They're ok, but I'm looking for something alittle more custom. Plus I have heard that with many of the aftermarket headlights, they tend to have the halos and LED's burn out pretty quick. Any other suggestions are welcome. Even if I do seem kind of stubborn at times

Well you could just upgrade your stock headlights with an HID Kit. Save some cash and the light can match your fogs.

I would if it weren't for the glare factors. You get that any time you put HID in a halogen housing. I actually have that problem with my fogs. The light just scatters everywhere. Plus I've already bought a spare set of headlights and baked one of them open. Yes, it will be expensive, but it will be well worth it in the end

I need money! I've located a Quaife LSD on another site and could get it for $700 shipped. The only downside is the roughly $1,000 install and the down time. However, I also know where I could get a spare 5-speed for relatively cheap. It's very tempting, but I think I need to focus on a couple other things before I look into something like that.

yeah thats true, the beam pattern and cutoff isnt necessarily that great. But the beam is way brighter. Glare does become a factor but if positioned correctly, It wouldnt be much of a problem. You should be able to adjust the headlight to aim a little lower. Unfortunately, you cannot aim the VRD fogs.

I personally have an hid kit, for the price I love it. Never had problems.

But if you do want the best, retrofitting is the way to gooo. Props to you.

Good luck Jamie! It's looking good I'm going to be lazy and just get HID's. But with projectors, I don't have to deal with retrofitting and any of that other mess.

I'm digging that Greddy rear bar... do ya know if they make the under body braces like they do for the G1 xB? I had the Greddy front and rear under body braces on my '05 BCP xB and loved them, now the wife is getting to enjoy them on her '05 BSP xB

I also like your fogs, where did ya find them at?... like I've said before new to the tC so am working hard to get a bookmark folder with all my "need" parts sites

Will adding this still help with stabilization if I already have the rear sway bar under the chassis?

Well, thank you. No, they do not make under body braces for the tC. The closest thing that they have is the Ingalls rear strut brace: Ingalls Scion tC rear shock tower brace - 93304. It's not exactly the same, but it should help alittle bit. FYI, if you are interested in an Ingalls brace, let me know and I'll see what I can find for you.

I got my fogs used from a member on another forum. You can get them brand new from VRD for about $250. Then throw in a $100 6000K HID kit and you will have my fogs. I love them.

I didn't really feel any difference in performance. I noticed ALOT with my front strut bar. Maybe if I didn't have the front strut bar, I would feel the effects more. Oh well, it looks good lol. But yeah, it won't hurt anything if you have a rear sway bar.

It certainly does look very cool.

I have the TRD rear sway bar, which is why I was asking. It's not as visually noticeable obviously, but if it's effectively doing the same thing, then cool.
