Hey Everybody! My name is Ashley. I just got a 2005 Scion Tc. It is actually my first car. I am so excited about it. Im not too familiar with Scions but this site has alot of info so I should be an expert by the time I'm done soaking it all in. lol My Tc is red, it says its part of the release series, I'm not sure what that means but anyways. It was taken care of pretty good by the previous owner. It runs good. I have never really liked red cars but when I spotted this one on the lot across the street from where I work about a month ago, I knew I had to have it. I am in love with my car. That is kinda weird but it is completely true. My fiance always wants to drive it but he will have to pry me out from behind the wheel before that happens. lol I love this site and I hope to learn alot more about my car and all the people here.

Hi, its always cool to meet new people on the site. The car looks good, although Im not sure which year the red RS came out, the Release Series means that it is basically the "Special Edition" if you will of the Scions, only a set number are made, and normally they come with alot of the dealership extras...like those sweet rims.

Ashley, welcome to Club-tC. Very clean and very well done Scion tC RS Edition. The color is gourgeous and I love the Enkei Wheels. As far as I know, there has been 5 RS Editions made. RS1, RS2, RS3 RS4 and RS5. Now as far as the color red in the RS Edition/Series, I want to say that was in the RS3 Edition, but I may be wrong. If you look on your dash over by the glovebox, you should have a stamp saying (215 of 3000) for ex. That's how you can tell if you have an RS Edition/Release Scion tC.

Correct me if I am wrong, but its my understanding that the upgraded wheels (Enkei) came standard on Scion tC RS Edition, which are 18'', where a base model Scion tC came with 17'' wheels. Anyone can upgrade to those wheels if you want something more sporty.

Its an RS1 if its a 2005, dont know how I missed that earlier, and yes the rims are probably up for sale at the dealership, but the RS tCs come with them as a part of the RS package.

Hello Ashley. I am in love with your car too. Though I do love all things blue, the RS1.0 is one sexy ride. Must be that 80's hair band rocker in me; red and black. I hope someday to own one myself. Anyway, welcome to the Club.
