My cousin going to the sandbox
Well I just found out my cousin who is only 20 is being deployed to Iraq. He is in the Marine Reserves and his unit is being sent Jan 7th. I have a lot of mixed emotions about it right now. On one hand I am proud of him for serving my country but on the other hand I hate to see him risking his life.
I'm not big into politics but when I hear about 20 year old kids being sent to war it pisses me off.
Anyone else have family going or currently in Iraq? How are you guys coping with it? How do you feel about it?
I just hope he comes back safely.
