Well, I actually like all the colors, but I am going to go with silver, as far as options, I am defenitly going with a 5 speed, I was very shocked at how short the gears where when I test drove it. I assume it effects the gas milage a little, but the performance is nice to have. Id like the lip spoiler and door sills. I may decide to add more later, but for now, Im going to keep it simple. I have another car that is fairly modded. Its not a daily driver ,but rather a cruiser, show car. I have spent alot of time on it modifying almost everything. I am not sure what I am going to do with the Tc, but it most likely wont be anything extreme, for a few years . I am planning on doing some simple mods maybe a few months down the road. Thats why I love the forums, b\c you can learn and read so much before making a wrong choice, and get to know some nice people at the same time.

welcome.

the new si's are more performance oriented than the tC. but too bad the 06 looks like all the other civics unlike the EP3. now the EP3 is a classic stood out from the other civics. i dont like the si look too much. i'd take a type-s anyday.

Yeah I really am not impressed with the styling of the new Si.

yeah I took my friend today to the dealer, he wanted to check out the car, and I personally think they have decent power and I think the styling is perfect. The cars handle amazingly well. He didnt think the power was that good, and he thought that the gears where to short and that by the time the car reached its power band you had to shift. I on the other hand feel the car has a constant power band. He also mentioned that it was too small inside, which I am about 6'0" and have no probelem with headroom.

Hey, stop badgering the civics, i love civics, but for the price of a new civic SI you could get a supercharger on the tC and enjoy boost, acctually even with the supercharger the tC is still cheaper then the new SI, personnally i would buy the new 4dr SI just to be different, it kicks ass!!

Haha.. four door cars seem to handle better on some of the back streets than the coupes any way, strangely enough. I don't mind civics, though they are way over rated, the newer SI's seem to be something that is trying to appeal to the older (more middle-aged) car buyer market, while trying to stay sporty enough to keep the youngsters interested as well.

Oh yeah, WELCOME Lazania!!

Yeah they are overrated, and a lot of "ricers" give them a bad name, but true honda enthusiasts really know how to extract every bit of goodness out ot civics, they have us beaten on the tranny, 6spd with LSD....yummy

Yeah, the Civis are nice, but Honda tried too hard to copy the tC. All I know is that my tC smokes Civic SI's.
