Would I take one over a Challenger? Definitely. A Mustang-I don't know... you could probably a get a GT for the price of a V-6 Camaro.

Attention, IROC-Z enthusiasts: the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro will not be available with your beloved T-top. If this is hugely disappointing, well, it may finally be time to put on a shirt with a collar, sell your Skynyrd CDs, and scissor the mullet.

In reviving the Camaro, Chevy is doing all it can to make the born-again car remind everyone of the sharp, cleanly styled 1967 original, rather than the more awkward later versions that seemed like accessories to tank-top wear and excesses in facial hair. This writer, the semi-proud owner of a 1995 Z28, knows intimately all the social assumptions that go with late-model Camaro ownership.

It would be a tough decision for me: '09 Challenger or '10 Camaro... if the Challenger was built quality-wise like the Chevy, I'd be all for it. Although since Dodge has a shady rep, and the Camaro V6 alone has 300 hp, the winner in my book is the Chevy.

I actually saw a gray Challenger with black racing stripes a few weeks ago when I was heading to a company picnic. It was sick. I so seriously wish dodge would step their game up & make a quality vehicle.

i saw one too .. but in white .. im not for American cars but that was a sick lookin car ..
i agree wit u wen u talk about the quality ..
the SRT-4 for example is a QUICK car .. but theres one at my boys shop ALL the time hahaha

I'm sure this has been noticed by now, but just incase: the V6 Camaro's start at 22,000ish. Most HP for your money right now, and I can vouch for the power the LT Camaros pack. Handling has been vastly improved over yesteryear's muscle car as well, these things stick to the road and feel very solid at high speeds.

Wait till the 2011 tC´s are out. It will be able to stomp on most out of the box. When it comes to heavy versus light, HP does not matter so much if it ain´t over 150HP difference.

Checkout the latest edition of Hotrod magazine. They have the SEMA show mock up of a 2010 Pontiac Trans Am. It is totally bad arse. Too bad there ain't a Pontiac Division anymore.
