My 2010 MazdaSpeed3 and 3 series BMW

I haven't been around here in awhile, but got a PM from someone so checked in. Lots of changes!!

For me, I got rid of the tC last year. Then this year I was in Afghanistan, bought a new car for when I got back. I got a 2010 MazdaSpeed3. Its a fun car, with 263hp and 280trq. Also got the wife a BMW 320i.
Right now she has more mods than me, but I am working on it.

With her ride, I am still jelouse that she has a nicer ride than me:

Took it out on the runway and ran it up to 120MPH. Wanted to go faster, but it was wet out:





At the drag strip. Ran it the first time with DSC on, so the Launch SUCKED SUCKED SUCKED. But I beat the SRT-4 I was running.

We are all glad that you made it back in one piece. Is that Guam I see in the pics? So you are stationed at Andersen AFB? I was there when that Buff crashed for the Independence air show. Our Herc took off 10 minutes before the Buffs did on our way to Buckholz Army Airfield in the Marshalls. Are you still stationed there?

The Mazda3 Speed looks like a fun car. Rev's fast. What is that vertical display that is between the speedo and tach?

Yeah. It was an interesting time, I ran Convoy Patrol missions this time around. Made for an interesting time, but picked up some interesting medals, including some Navy ones.

Yeah stationed in Guam. Got here Feb 08. Not to bad here, just hot and small. I actually got here the day before the B2 crashed. The B52 was sad, lost people on that one.

Its a fun car, not really what I wanted, but I bought it on a whim just because I felt I needed to by something to justify my hard work while overthere. It was a bad week. And made an impulse buy. Bought it online while i was deployed and had it delivered to the house. Now there is a way to piss the wife off!!

The vertical display is the boost gauge. Has vac/boost up to 15PSI.

Don't know how usable this gauge would be in a race, but looks cool. There are plenty of tC's running around the island. Surprised that you didn't order another tC? Do you ever see your former baby tool'n around the island? The last time I was in Guam was September 2008. The 1st tC that I saw was the SW back in 2007. I caught it from the Marriot Hotel balcony coming and going.

Ever ride the Air Force buses? Ever catch a glimpse of this decal?

Yeah its a cool lookng gauge, but used more for if I want to stay out of boost to save fuel.
I didn't even consider another tC. I honestly don't really like the tC to much in stock form. I only bought the first one so I could build it. And once I built it, there wasn't much more to do.
Never been on the Buses. If I am, I will have to check it out. If you are on Island, let me know and I will meet you somewhere!
