    Default Scratches...

Well last week I was lucky enough to be sandwiched between 2 other cars =)

Anyone have any ideas on how to get the scratches in the front out? Where can I get some touch up paint?

Dude! You are an Eagle Scout. That is cool. I was Life and close to the required Merit Badges before my Troop folded. So wish that I had went to a different Troop to complete it. Served as a Den Leader, Assistant Scout Master, and a District Leader for some years before I went full-time Military.

As for the scratches, are they just in the paint or are they deeper into the poly olefin bumper? Treat paint scratches as you would anywhere else with a good 3 step compound buff that is clear coat safe. If is into the bumper, it will need to be sanded, filled, sanded and repainted.

Yep finished all the paperwork and everything April 23 2007 at 9:30 pm, turned 18 April 24 2007 :P

Most of the scratches you cant even see in the pics, but there are 2 bigger ones that look like they went through the paint, any help on fixing those?

Whew, you were just under the wire. Congrats

As for those naysay scratches, you are going to have to use touch-up paint. Your Dealership should have the right OEM touch-up paint for your car. To completely hide the repair to blend in with the paint job is going to be a tedious affair, much like, the Nature Merit Badge or the project in Leather Work. You could also ask the service department who they use to repair scratches on the new cars in the lot.

what all would you recommend to buff out the small scratches?

Any of these Meguiar's paint cleaning products. Use a random orbital buffer of good quality.
