Gonna be installing a 10000k hid kit in about a week. I'm pretty excited. I'll post picks once I get them in.

Wow, that is going to be mega blue. What brand of HIDs did you get?

yeah i hope it looks good, i'll angle the headlights down until i get some projectors. and i'm actually not sure what brand they are all i know is they're in a white box and i got them from a friend for $35, so i figured i might as well try them.
What ever you do, don't cut your factory harness. Also, keep you stock bulbs in your car as backups. Something about a $35, white box special just wreaks of poor quality.

that is one good thing about this kit, they are direct plug and play
I found that my PNP kits for my '07 Tundra and tC had the plugs that wire into the headlamp harness wired backwards. They were from 2 different manufacturers.

It's the white box special i got from my friend. They look a lot more blue when I'm driving, they're 10000k.
yea they will tend to look brighter when your driving, but its only cuz it takes them a while to heat up to their full brightness. i have 8000k and it takes about 10min for them to reach full glow.
I have to admit I love my 8000K HID's (T-View). I have tried the Zenon's and they were ok, but didn't last as long nor as bright as a HID. I will never go back to a zenon/halogen bulb again.

I don't think that you can get Zenons anymore. They changed the spelling to Xenon.
I find that anything over 6 Kelvins gives you poorer visibility. My 7K bulbs make objects that are white, grey, or tan washout with the road and dark backgrounds. Even with my high beams which are SilverStar Ultras, I had difficulty making out a drunk woman walking in the traffic lane of a 2-lane State Highway till I was upon her. Had I been speeding or not paying close attention (I had seen the rear reflectors of a car that I thought was a State Trooper running radar), I might have came close to hitting that lady. She can thank God for that and that I happened to not been a serial rapist. That lady was in a very bad situation and had it been an unscrupulous person or sleepy driver, she would have not made it home alive that night. Scares me when I think about that and that could have been my Daughter.
