Not sure if this is the right place but i was just wondering my headlights look all scratched up and foggy on the outside if that makes any sense. ive cleaned it and wiped it down everything and it still looks like crap its mainly on the lid too but still... i had walked into a place to get my oil changed and stuff and they do it for like but i would rather do it myself. they didnt even sell whatever cleaner it is to clear it up so anyone know what i should use?

Most autoparts stores sell kits that include everything that you need plus instructions. I feel like I discovered this idea because about a year after I started buff polishing all of my Family's Dodge cars lights with rubbing compound and wax buffing, the kits started showing up on the market. There is nothing special about the kits. They just have all of the parts together with instructions. There is a special paste that is used for plastics that can also be had there.

No prob. Be sure to use painters tape around the light to protect the paint. A high speed dril with a buffer wheel attachment is required to get it clear.
