Default exhaust breaking in

hey, just put on my magnaflow catback and well, it hasnt fully broken in yet. i can hear the engine rev at high rpm over the exhaust. i downloaded the sound clip and it was all good, mine but much deeper and louder. how long does it take for an exhaust to break in?

Give it 6 to 8 months. Then it will get louder.

A few hours of driving should be good for "Break-in". Your burning off the outer layer of coating on the outside of the pipe. This includes oil, dirt, and other contaminants. The same would go for the catalytic convertor.

Why not stay with injen and get the exhaust to go with your CAI?
