Default ecu reflash?

can the dealer reflash my ecu to change the rim size, so the speedo stays accurate?

19" 225/35/19 = 6.7% bigger then stock 60mph on speedo= 64 real world speed..

I don't think it would be an ecu issue but a speed seansor issue. Not sure though.

no reflash. no way to adjust.

stay within 3% of the original circumference and it should be ok.
anything much more than that and you will have MAJOR issues.

your proposed 6.7% bigger? OMFG.. no.

and how did you come up with your 3% rule? going to 20's on my suburban was more then a 10% change... no ill affects..

you're talking about a suburban.... this is a passenger car we're talking about..

the 3% +/- has always been talked about.. even on here:

just changing to 20's doesn't really mean anything... it's about your overall tire circumference... meaning... tire size comes to play as well.

btw.. since the stock wheels are 215/45/17.. your 225/35/19 is about 2.4% slower... so that's fine..
