Default catback exhaust

someone set me right.. from what ive read, most everyone agrees that catback is the way to go.. i dont know much about mods but ive been researching.. i want horses, but i dont want my exhaust coming out crooked. case and point, the megan racing drift spec catback.. i think they have picks on krazykustomzonline. the pics of the tc looked horrible.. will all catback systems come out like this?

also, i live in the WV hills.. it snows, it rains, how worried should i be about water getting in my engine if i get CAI? would a short ram be better?? what do you suggest?

I live in RI and have to deal with all the seasons, I am considering a CAI as well and from what I understand you would have to completely submerge your filter in water to do any damage to your engine. They sell bypass valves just in case water does get past the filter it won't go into your engine.

if you want to get the most outta your engines breatheability yes, go with a catback, and make SURE the one you're looking at IS a catback! and no, they don't all look crooked like that, i personally hate anything that comes out of megan racing, but that's just me. as for the CAI, go with a short ram, go with a full-length, by a bypass valve, doesn't really matter. you're not going to suck any water unless you're cruisin through at least 2 foot deep water.

they're full of sh*t, i was worried about the same thing, only had my car for 3 months and i've talked to numerous dealers about it and they say as long as you're not jeopardizing the engine's structural integrity or modifying the ECU or wiring then it's fine.
