Yes, changing the header to one w/o cat will change the exhaust flow enough to dramatically increase the exhaust note. I have the DC Sports with a full custom 2.5 with dual 12" high-flow resonators and HKS power exhaust. It is vey loud and still has a resonating rasp. Before I had the TRD axleback and ZPI s-pipe with the same header and it was really loud.

I installed the header and s-pipe at the same time. Eventualy I got the MIL (CEL). The anti-fouler trick got rid of it and it has never resurfaced.

They only sell a 4-1. Someone at one point goofed and put 4-2-1. That same mistake is repeated as every vendor just reuses the same material on their web sites.

Default Catback Exhaust?

so yea got a 07 Tc Auto...I know auto Boo. Sorry i thought about it and all i'm gonna do is get the hks hi power muffler and have an exhaust shop put it on do to the fact of not much power putting out so no point in gettin an exhaust with less bends and loose hp.

so still want opinions on if that will still sound good or not with stock pipe just like 12 in of it will be bigger?

I have never heard the HKS, but I do have the TRD one, and it sounds nice, its not obnoxiously loud but when you step on it you will hear it, trust me, and at cruising speeds you can tell its there but its not overpowering, but if you want to add a header and all that good stuff then go with something else, TRD only sounds good stock. I'm going to replace mine once I save up some money. Hope this helped.

So true, so true. I have the HKS Hi Power. If your not turbo, the go with the smaller can. It fits better, sounds better, and works better. You will have to have 2 resonators of different sizes. I have 2x 12" resonators (mistake) that have aweful reverberation between 4-5K at WOT.

1 resonator usually isnt enough plus different length resonators can absorb different frequencies.
