i believe he is talking about like trd and borla axleback type exhaust ones with big mufflers..

I just got the GReddy TiC axleback.

I was going with the Evo2 originally,but I had that exhaust on my WRX for 3 years. Time for change.

Once I can get a sound clip of the exhaust I'll post it up.

It sounds pretty mean, but a little loud.

i have the trd ehaust with a fujita f5 cold air-intake and my car sounds bad ass, it has a nice deep rip to it.

I'm not upgrading my exhaust components until I get some form of F/I and I'm leaning towards the TRD S/C (Although I really would rather get boosted) because of California's absolutely NAZI emissions standards.

I'm just torn which one to get first.

S/C or LSD? I can't figure which one to get first.

LSD : ) i think the supercharger is too expensive for 40 hp. then if you try to get any more hp out of it you void the warranty. you can get the turbonetics kit with a cat in the downpipe so you would pass emissions.

ok i didnt want to ask until i saw it posted by someone else... some turbos come with cats? cuz i was thinkin how do you pass inspection with a turbo on your car?

i probably should research that myself but i'm not really gettin it anytime soon. by the time i get mine, everyone here who's boosted already would've been sold their tC and moved on to something else.

ur balls are bigger than mine! 500 just the thought of 300 with the turbo gives me the chills! i've never even experinced more than the 197 when i test drove the new Si!

Any aftermarket F/I modification in california nullifies you on your SMOG test. No exceptions. When I say California smog is nazi, I mean its really nazi.

I want my tC to be my street car, so I'm looking at 275whp, 300 at the absolute tops.

So I think the TRD S/C with a 14.5psi pulley will do me just fine. But since I am a handling junkie, I will need to get my handling mods first before I get my S/C.

That means, I need to get Coilovers, Sway/Strut cars + endlinks, then new wheels, plus the LSD.

Lots of money to spend.

Then I gotta do brakes. Lmao.

Oh man dude, you're missing out.

A good friend of mine owns a Southern California Lancer Evolution club.

I got to ride in a Evo8 with a Garrett GT35R turbo, with full supporting mods and 272/272 cam profile 450whp. Got to also ride in a Evo8 with the Apex-i RX-6 turbo running 575whp.

It's GREAT STUFF man.

Speed is addicting, so get into it slowly my man.

wow that's power i cant even imagine! i get addicted to stuff like that really easily! i dont wanna be like b00gi3 and carbon wanting 12lbs of turbo boost a few months after getting started. i have very little control! i'd rather get all my "look good" mods first and get addicted to that.

then i hear a voice saying "this is why you are broke! it's for your own good!"

12psi as your daily driver?

Psh.

My scooby was running 13 PSI with mild mods as my daily driver, and I barely got 20 MPG.

Terrible.

not much worse than what i get lol i might get 22 or 23 then like 25 on the interstate. thos 660cc injectore murder my gas mileage
