Need suggestions on intake and exhaust

i was going to get the megan racing full cat back but i had seen previous post on SL that ppl were not satisfied and that the metal corroded so i opted out and went with skunk2. i know my buddy told me that skunk2 always is loud cause when he had his civic he was going to get one of those but i'm very happy with it and i will probably paint the silencer flat black. what degree paint should i get navylife?

400F should suffice. Unless your turbo'd, you ain't going to be anywhere close to that. I would suggest an automotive paint cause a regular Home Depot house paint is going to smell something aweful.

ok so, i bought my tC about a year ago and i think its time to add something thing to it. i was thinking of getting a DC Sport exhaust, i would get theTRD Axle Back but i dont know, and a Weapon R Secret Weapon Intake. what do you guys think?

It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish and how much you want to spend. Sound, looks, power, a little of each...

i want something that sounds nice, looks nice and also adds a little power. but im trying to keep the coast, not as low as possible, but realativlely low...cause im kinda low on money and will be for a while...

The TRD sounds like what you need, except it is expensive. TRD Sparks sells it the cheapest. Other than that, you just have to search the forums for feedback on others.

hey i just got my tc as well the new 08, i plan on getin the TRD axel back exhaust even tho its expensive i like the tone of it and it gives a lil hp i hear, the intake im still thinking about, but what other things can you do to tweak the car to make more hp any other sujestions?

Lightweight or under drive pulley. Other than the rest of the exhaust thats all I can think of for simple bolt on jobs.

Upgrade the Chasis, Bat, Engine Block, Head grounds. You can buy the expensive kits or DIY with car audio power cables. LW Alt and water pump pullies from NST. Full synthetic oil. Water Wetter from Redline or Royal Purple. Loose the weight by going with Odessy battery and keep ICE to a minimum.

Well some mods are just what you call supporting mods. Alone they do much of nothing for ya, but start adding on the bolt-ons and they will provide more performance. Upgraded fuel pumps, larger injectors, CD ignition sys, etc fall into this category. Some mods don't make power, but just recover wasted energy by making the engine more efficient. LW pullies and flywheels fit this category. I/H/E + pullies should net you around 15WHP+.
