Engine mounts are far superior. But an engine limiter (if you can find one) or a engine dampner will do very well.

If you have ever launched your car extremely hard you will notice it shutters alot of take off.
Torque causes the engine to twist when you floor it. Its the counter spin of the crank shaft. Think if you are holding a power drill and you pull the trigger, you can feel the drill want to twist, same theory.
Engine mounts allow the engine to vibrate/twist while absurbing the vibrations. You use and engine damper, engine limiter, or filler motor mounts to make the engine stiffer. Therefor the car wont shutter on take off, but you will have a louder car and more vibrations.

I am going to try and build up a bracket similar to the ZPI setup but with a torque dampner(s) built onto it. I don't really care for their choice of mounting a stiff bracket to the lower radiator mount. I know the rear motor mount is attached to a crossmember that is also attached to the lower radiator mount. The difference is that it is also attached to the K-member and that the mount absorbes most of the vibration and torque twist. The ZPI piece is hard attached to the transmission with no mount so all the load and pressure is focused directly on the lower radiator mount. Being that this is a key crumple zone component, I have to question whether this area is experiencing undue stress or being twisted out of alignment. A stock motor may not cause issue, but a 250WHP+ motor is more likely to. Just food for thought. Discuss amongst yourselves.
