i saw a article in modified mag about it . it is a monitoring device that shows speed, rpm, water temp ,ignition timing ,air flow ,air/fuel ,voltage ,throttle output, and much more all for around 350 . it says it is meant for 2003 and above toyota CAN-bus vehicles ( i have no idea what that means does anyone else know? ) to install all you do is plug it into your vehicles diagnostic port

It should work on the '07 and up tC's. The '05-'06 are CAN enabled bus, but the pinout of the DLC3 connector is not the same.

I have the Dashhawk, or should I say my Son does. Yes, it is worth it. They read the PID's (sensors) directly from the motor. You are seeing the same exact data the ECM sees. These sensors are engineered and calibrated specifically for the 2AZ-FE and its ECM. You also have a datalog feature and ability to roughy figure 0-60, 1/4 ET, and HP. Don't forget that one display does it all and not a load of gauges. For the hardcore racer/street fighter, gauges are still what is called for, though it would be a handy tool for tuning.

do you like shift light option on the dash hawk ? do you think the blitz version or the msd version would be better ? is there a way to hardwire them in so you dont have to plug them into the cigarette jack i hate how that looks

The MSD Dashhawk gets its power directly from the DLC3 OBDII/CAN connector which happens to be the only thing that you need to plug in. I am not sure, but it looks like the Blitz unit powers the same, thru the port.

These units are pretty much the same as displaying the CAN sensor outputs. The Blitz has a multi-color screen and ability to tweak the fan controller and fuel trims. The MSD is monochrome display allowing up to 65,000 color combinations for the lit background and adds 0-60/ET/HP calculations

I had the Blitz setup in my MR2 in Japan. I absolutly ADORED those beautiful pieces of equipment! I just wish i could of got the color, but when i bought them color was still 2 years away from production.

They are expensive though, but they are worth every penny. The SBC i never really used other setting on it. It had two ways of showing boost, and it could store 4 settings for boost. So on base i could turn the knob to setting 1 (.8 psi of boost) and when i would go race i would run about 13-14PSI. The Blitz could read boost in PSI, Bar, and 2 other international readings. When my boost would spike, or any of the monitoring sensors i had were exceeded, they would beep and turn red.

The Power ID had the timer and all that, but primarly i used it to display how fast i was going in MPH (it was dead accurate too) and used it for recording other things so i could see how the car performed during a race. If i ever decide to get off my ass and turbo my tC (im 99% probibally going supercharger due to the utter lack of a repuatble tuning shop in hawaii) I would immediatly buy the SBC and ID again without hold.

They are some of the best electronic products for automobiles i have ever used.

SBC i-Color : Blitz, Power Site

R-VIT i-Color : Blitz, Power Site

Those prices are without the optional parts for monitoring.
