Anyone ever used a MegaSquirt? I helped my buddy build his, but he has not got around to installing it or anything. He thinks they are better than most fuel\engine management devices, but I don't know. |

It is just a standalone engine management. Kinda like a Greddy E-Manage, but you are responsible for building and testing it and all. You just get a PCB and a bunch of components in the mail and you solder the thing, but Its like $200 or something cheap. diyautotune.com sells it.

Well it has the ability to auto tune so you can just tweak from that or take it to a pro to tune it, it has a serial interface to link up to a laptop. Yes its quality. I would suggest a Google search since I only have built one so my knowledge is very limited on it, hence me starting a thread to see if anyone knows much about it.
It must be popular in just the VR-4 community since my buddy drives a Stealth and Navy heard about it from a Dodge site. |

Its a very well known product, but I have yet to try it. I have the FAST XFI system on one of my cars and the Accel DFI system on another. Both of those are much more expensive. I'd be interested to hear your thought on it.
