More boost means different calibration based off the 7PSI TRD maps. The ECM is a learning engine managment system and can calibrate based on current engine performance which just so happens to change with the addition of power adders. In this case, 2.5 PSI more boost.

well i got my pulley on and my car was making this funny popping noise and my frickin engine was detonating i had a master technician ride with me from ferrari dealership and he told me what it was. so i went back to the performance shop and they are going to tune me up i bought the aem piggy back and i went ahead and bought my headers too : ) 2.5 lbs of boost wow what a difference. they said i might be able to get rid of it by colder plugs but im going to get the aem anyway.

Yes, you need atleast one step colder plugs. I ran mine with the TRD plugs w/ no probs for a while till Kenny tuned me up to 228.4. I am running stock plugs now till I get through tinkering with my S/C. I may be going turbo on another motor. Kenny wants to build me a 900+WHP drag monster for a SpoCom regional bracket.

You can hack a current CAI/SRI to fit into tha S shaped intake line, buld your own like moi, or I think MMW has one.

You can just disconnect the battery and it will reset everything. Dont need to worry about the fuses. never pulled mine and ran good for a year!

DO NOT DO THAT. Positive and nagative should never touch if one is hooked up to the battery.
I dont think anything would happen if not hooked up, but I have never heard of that. just like the doors, and headunit and all reset when you disconnect the battery, I am sure everything else will too.

I would say thats a bad idea. I don't know if anything would happen, but taking off the negative terminal works just fine.

Colder plugs are for boosted apps as the air/fuel charge is under increased cylinder pressure. A step colder basically pulls the electrode tip further out of the cylinder; smoothing flow and preventing detonation from hot tip. N/A apps need the plug deeper into the cylinder to initiate combustion.

Pulling the 7A ECM fuse just resets power from the ECM and not the other modules. Your choice, either way works.
