Definately the best thing, next to sticky tires, that you can do to get the power to the road. There is a cheaper alternative that gets you close to LSD performance; Phantom Grip. I bought one, but never installed it. It would never be a true LSD, but I feel that with a FWD transaxle, it would provide a definate benefit. Your stock tC can leave 2 black marks and smoke both tires. Both tires want to spin, but the power goes to the wheel that gets less traction. At the point that wheel is slipping, the power gradually equates back to the other tire. Depending on the type of LSD, it is the tire with the grip that gets the most power with lesser amount of power going to the slipping tire. When the slipping tire begins to grab traction, power is shifted back equating the distribution.
