Hey man, did your check engine light come on when you left your intake as a short ram instead of dropping it all the way into the fender?

Thats just a RAM air intake setup instead of the CAI setup. I had a CAI then converted to RAI and I did not get a CEL. You should not get one unless you mess up the MAF sensor.

roger. before i put the rest of the pipe on, i was getting a thresh hold too high code from the MAF sensor. Once I added the second pipe it magically went away. Also, iim getting a below thresh hold reading on my O2 sensor in my header. Any suggestions?

Check to make sure the MAF is installed correctly and securely. The open part of the MAF should face the filter. Also check your fittings to ensure they are secured properly.

You have after market headers? Are you sure its the O2 sensor in the header not the S-Pipe (Bank1Sensor1)?

The MAF is good to go. And yes, i believe it is bank 1 sensor 1. What would make that come up? I assumed it was the one in the pre-cat on the stock header. I will post pics tomorrow after i install my halos. sweeeettt!!!

Bank1 Sensor1 is the O2 sensor on the S-Pipe. That is your main cat not a pre-cat in the front there.
The ECU samples the exhaust before and after the catalytic converter, if the samples are too similar it will throw a code. If you get that with the stock exhaust manifold then there could be a problem with either the cat or one of the sensors.

Well then that is why you got the code, you got rid of your primary catalytic converter. Check out this link for a fix to get rid of the CEL. http://www.club-tc.com/forums/engine...event-mil.html

Personally I would suggest having a cat installed in your mid pipe, but most people do not want to pay for it.
