Anyone Bought Ebay CAI or SRI? Off brand?
I am low on money and am about to buy probably a short ram intake for my 2006 scion tc from ebay. I was wondering if anyone has had any good or bad experiences with certain ones bought off ebay. Oh yeah and I want to get an off-brand. Any luck?

name vs. no name
i asked a similar question concerning name vs no name brand a little while ago in this section. i was told that you get what you pay for with stuff like that. i was gonna go that route too. most people suggest injen cuz you can make it CAI or SRI.

Injen is great but AEM is my top choice
did my research and spent my money right once every website had AEM for $281-$320 Injen $234-$250 so i spent my money on the highly recomended one  DO NOT settle for cheap knock offs they break .. hav bad quality material .. some aren't tested for performance

Yeah I made that mistake a long time ago. I mean it worked right, but it was just a generic pipe with a K and N air filter on it. It was really cheap, and you could tell. Just save your money.

The Chinese made CAI/SRI tubing is very thin walled and weak. Pay for the name brand on this one. Most of the intakes on Ebay for cheap are just that. Not everything is all that bad on Ebay. I have bought numerous items off there for my tC. You just have to know what to look for and ask the seller the right questions to quantify.

no performance items from ebay
close tho .. my turbonetics kit was almost one but the power sellers store was tempererally closed so i wen to the website got the number and called up payed thru paypal

So you just gotta look around and know what you are getting. If you think something is too good to be true, then it probably is. Also just post it here, and we will help you out.

Ebay
Just about everything performance wise, I get off ebay. My CAI was like 65 dollars and a friend of mine got the Injen one for like 200 something and he likes mine more, it is a waste of money to get the name brand.(depending on the product. just have to use sense on certain things) You just have to be thorough when looking at stuff on ebay. I even bought a CAI for my Mustang GT and I love it. I have gotten neons, cai's, exhaust components, headers and little things here and there. I have never had a problem with any of it.

I tend to buy from sellers that have actual websites and utilize Ebay as another way of advertising.
Cross-drilled/slotted rotors 17-row oil cooler (same as Greddy) CCFL Eagle Eyes Halos A few intake parts SS bolts TRD Badz Maru/VVT-i emblems various decals 1.3 KG/CM² JDM radiator cap A few other items that I don't remember

navy, any problems with ur ccfl halos since you've had them? and can u have just the halos lit up w/o the lows on? and can you get the ccfl in white? sorry for the ambush of questions.
