Rather than having a bad reputation, they just have an inconsistent one. (I suppose that is a bad one.)
All the Honda/Acura owners who've used their products recommend OBX, but when I worked on Scooby's, they were the laughing stock of the community. I checked out a TMIC made by OBX, surprisingly well crafted. Surface dimensions were slightly larger than stock, the welds were good, full bar-plate design as well. Then I check out some Exhausts and Intake and they literally break after use. Maybe, check out other forums to see what their experiences are? |
