Homemade CAI TRUE?

Any one make one them selfs? if so where does the tube run and the where is the filer located? N o point of buying a "cold air intake" that takes air from the same damn place as the stock one...

i would imagine if you made one yourself it would be in the same location as an aftermarket one. as far as the stock one, the filter is in that plastic box. plus you have to keep in mind the MAF sensor near the beginning of the intake if you're gonna make your own tube.

you can make your own. if you know what bends you need to can do it. cheaply
