I just got done talking to a guy over at BC and yes the complete kit goes for 3300.00.......and unfortunately they are saying approx. 6 weeks from being able to purchase them. He also referred to the approx. hp gain.......somewhere in the neighborhood of 50hp....for those of us running completely stock....
For those of us with limited knowledge of "basically rebuilding" a motor we can look forward to taking about 1 week from beginning to end. I am actually looking forward to ordering mine.....as long as they don't end up on b/o...... Oh crap I just realized I am going to need to get new headers and exhaust.....those first then I guess... |

You can order just the parts for the kit, ie cams, valves, pistons, rods, etc. The cams run for $700.00. You have to figure in the labor costs. If you go the all out motor route with the the stroker kit head work and race cams, then the motor has to be machined and sleeved. Head work alone might cost more than you think if you oversize your valves and get a CNC port job. Of course, you can tone it down a bit to save the cash if your a boost'n sort of person. To get the most out of a cam your going to need the head work. All motor will need better compression. You can talk with the guys at Jotech 972-278-9744 for some tech help. They are 2AZ-FE experts.

On the street cams I would expect 10~20WHP with 2.5" exhaust and CAI/SRI. You can contact BC directly and ask for their dyno data. dustin@briancrower.com
